Frequently Asked
Questions
What fonts do you suggest for Custom Debossing?
- Serif: Silk
- Sans-Serif: Brandon
- Google Fonts and Esty are great resources for custom fonts to use with your albums. Google Fonts offers a variety of free fonts and Etsy offers affordable fonts created and sold by independent artists.
How can I ensure my Custom Engraving will turn out well?
- It is best to stay away from text or graphics with fine lines and significant detail. Engraving can capture detail better than debossing, however significant detail can be difficult depending on the design. If you have questions or concerns, please email support@kiss.us prior to placing your order so we can best assist you. Kiss is not responsible if a design is not suitable for engraving.
What is the difference between debossing and engraving?
- Engraving uses a laser to etch the graphic into the material.
- Debossing uses a stamp (or plate) to press the graphic into the material.
